Premium botanicals (juniper berries, orange peel and blossom, and Ghanaian grains of paradise) are added and steeped for 24 hours in the spirit and later gently distilled in a pot still. Made with real african Marula fruit that is grown wild, hand harvested, washed and sorted to ensure the best quality fruit spirit. Distilled with a base of marula fruit spirit and a collection of carefully curated botanicals including grains of paradise and orange blossom, this spirit is perfect paired with premium tonic. The amarula tree, indigenous to the southern latidues of sub-equitorial Africa and known by the locals as the elephant tree as it is flavoured by the elephants for its fruit. There is just one place on earth where the Marula trees grow – across Africa’s subequatorial plains.

The marula fruit grows in South Africa and is a favourite of the elephant herds who drawn by the scent of the ripe fruit, gather beneath the trees.It worked really well in a Tropical Fizz, a pineapple based cocktail and brought a hint of the exotic to the cold north of England!
